Alumnae Event: What has happened to economic opportunity?

August 02, 2018 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Join Emerge Colorado for an alumnae – only event with the Bell Policy Center as we discuss what has happened to economic mobility in this state and country.

After a year of intensive research and conversations across the state, it is clear too many people feel economically stuck despite Colorado’s exceptional prosperity. This led to the Bell’s Guide to Economic Mobility in Colorado, which addresses four major forces threatening opportunity in our state: shifting demographics, growing inequality, lack of community investment, and technology’s effect on how we work and learn. The Bell also explored how to address the impact of these forces through levers like education, health, housing, and new work policies.

The Bell Policy Center is excited to partner with Emerge Colorado in a discussion on economic mobility and the levers we can use to move us forward.
