She is also the co-chair of the Education and Advocacy subcommittee for Aurora@Home, which is a non-profit that assists families in Aurora who find themselves without a home or in unstable living environments. She also serves on the Denver mayor’s Commission on Homelessness. She is a graduate from Metropolitan State University and spent over a decade in broadcasting before moving into politics after she received her M.A. from the University of Denver’s Korbel School for International Studies. Dominique is a champion for working class families, communities facing homelessness, and local small business.
