Michal Rosenoer, Executive Director
Denver, CO — Michal Rosenoer, Executive Director of Emerge Colorado, the state’s premier recruitment and training program for Democratic women interested in elected office, announced today that she will transition out of the role. Ms. Rosenoer started as the Executive Director of Emerge Colorado in March 2018; her last day on staff will be April 9, 2021. She graduated from Emerge Colorado’s six-month program in June 2017 before joining staff. Ms. Rosenoer had the following comments on the transition:
“Working at Emerge Colorado was my dream job. After three years as the Executive Director it’s time to turn over the reins to new leadership, and I look forward to supporting them as they continue to strive for better representation for women in politics across Colorado.
Emerge Colorado has played a crucial role in changing the face of politics in this state over the last few years, and I am grateful to have been part of it. Since I joined the staff in 2018, Emerge graduates flipped the state senate blue, ushered in a Democratic trifecta, helped Colorado become one of the best states in the country for women’s representation at the Capitol, and have broken over 20 glass ceilings for women in office. I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve accomplished for women in this state, and I know it won’t stop here.”
Ms. Rosenoer will be joining the team at Hipcamp as their Government Affairs Manager starting April 12, 2021. She is also an elected city councilor in Edgewater, Colorado. Emerge Colorado’s Board of Directors will post the Executive Director position on the Emerge Colorado website in the coming weeks.
