About Emerge Colorado
Emerge Colorado is a political nonprofit organization whose mission is to recruit and train Democratic women in Colorado to run for office and win. We have one paid staff person, our Executive Director, based in Denver. We run a six-month program that trains approximately 25 women a year to run for office, as well as a variety of shorter trainings throughout the year. We work closely with our 300 alumnae, political professionals, candidates, and partners to ensure women’s voices are elevated in politics and represented in government. This year we will run multiple trainings on the Western Slope, formalize our alumnae committee, and hold multiple community engagement events.
